Randy Landry serves as Chief People Officer at T. Baker Smith, a multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting firm based in Louisiana. In this role, he leads the firm’s people strategy, including talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational design, and culture.
With three decades of experience in the AEC industry, Randy focuses on aligning people practices with business strategy to support sustainable growth. He has played a key role in scaling the firm to over 350 associates while maintaining a strong, values-driven culture centered on service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Randy is actively involved in workforce development initiatives, partnering with universities and industry organizations to strengthen the talent pipeline and create practical pathways into the profession. He is particularly passionate about developing future leaders and helping firms navigate the evolving challenges of recruiting, retention, and employee engagement.
Outside of work, Randy enjoys spending time outdoors—especially duck hunting and fishing in south Louisiana—and is grounded by his faith and family.
