Rohan Jawali is the Founder and CEO of Joist AI, an AI-powered platform designed to streamline proposal and marketing workflows for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms. With more than 15 years of experience in construction technology, Jawali began his career at Hensel Phelps, where he led innovation initiatives in virtual design and construction and gained firsthand insight into the operational challenges facing the industry.
Driven by a desire to solve inefficiencies in proposal development and knowledge management, he founded Joist AI to help firms capture institutional knowledge, automate repetitive processes, and improve win rates. Jawali is recognized as a thought leader in contech and AI adoption within the built environment and has been named to industry honors such as Building Design+Construction’s “40 Under 40” and ENR’s Top Young Professionals.
