John Donatelli is president of infrastructure engineering for Kiewit. In this role, he leads the company’s infrastructure engineering, estimating, and project controls functions, including responsibility for critical work processes, procedures, tools, and innovation.

Over the span of a 31-year career, John has gained domestic and international design-build execution experience ranging from small projects to mega projects across the infrastructure market.

Previously he served as engineering project manager on major projects in Italy and across the US. John was named district manager of Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers in 2016. He serves on the Engineering Advisory Council for the University of Colorado. John joined Kiewit in 2011.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is registered professional engineer in Colorado and Washington.
