Nando joined ACEC as Senior Vice President of Energy and External Affairs in 2022, bringing more than two decades of experience at the intersection of energy policy, government relations, and legislative strategy. His work focuses on advancing public policies that expand market access and support the engineering industry.

His career includes service on Capitol Hill as Legislative Director to Congressman Martin Frost (D-TX) and Chief of Staff to Congressman Solomon Ortiz (D-TX), followed by nearly a decade helping to lead government affairs at Honeywell International and directing federal advocacy for the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers. Across these roles, Nando has developed and led legislative strategies, worked closely with federal agencies on policy and education initiatives, and supported the passage of legislation impacting infrastructure, energy, and industrial competitiveness.
