Steve joined ACEC in 2001 as head of the Council’s advocacy program. Prior to that he worked on Capitol Hill for 14 years, most recently as Legislative Director and Chief of Staff for Rep. Sue Kelly (R-NY). He worked for three additional House Republicans during his time in Congress, with particular focus on defense and infrastructure policy. Steve received a BA in Government & Politics at George Mason University, and currently lives with his wife Terre and daughter Sarah in McLean, Virginia.

Fun Fact: Steve performed on stage in lead roles in high school and college musicals and other productions. On the other end of the cultural spectrum…he’s an avid hunter and angler.
