John Rathke, PE, SE is Vice President and Principal at Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, employee-owned engineering firm ranked among ENR’s Top 100 Design Firms. Headquartered in Middleton, Wisconsin, the firm operates 60 offices across the country, delivering innovative, multi-disciplinary solutions that have earned it a reputation for excellence.

John, a recognized leader in the industry, is an ACEC Fellow and actively contributes to several national ACEC committees, including Transportation, Energy, Market Intelligence, Technology, and Risk Management. He has also held key leadership roles with ACEC Wisconsin, serving as National Director, Chairman of the Board, and Nominating Committee Chair.

John earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and a Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois.
